Job summary

Performance Inc in Canada is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running daily store operations, leading the team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences as we open our new location at the Toronto Premium Outlets.

You will drive service quality, manage scheduling, inventory, and merchandising while coaching staff and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role offers growth, a collaborative team, and a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Assistant Store Managerto support the Store Manager in managing the store operations, staff, and customer experience to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Decisions related to managing store operations, staff, and customer service are within the scope of the Assistant Store Manager's core mandate.

Your role will include:

• Customer Service - promote, monitor, and follow up with the team on quality service through training and by acting as a positive role model when on the shop floor

• Has a strong understanding of the store's inventory and is able to manage it effectively, ensuring that the store has the right products in stock at the right time.

• Has a good understanding of the store's financial performance and is able to identify opportunities to improve profitability.

• Is able to communicate effectively with the Store Manager, store staff, and customers, building positive relationships and promoting collaboration.

• Has a good understanding of the company's policies and procedures and ensures that the store operates in compliance with those policies and procedures.

• Has the ability to coach and develop retail leads and sales assistants.

What we offer:

• Salary Range$52,000 - $62,000per annum. Pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

• 3 weeks paid vacation, plus 3 paid floating days.
