Job summary

A respected design-build firm is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator in Toronto to support project delivery for office fit-out and commercial renovations. Ideal candidates have over 3 years of experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and an interest in advancing to a Project Manager role. Responsibilities include project planning, documentation preparation, and on-site support. This position offers competitive compensation up to $100,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • 36+ years of experience in a project coordination role within commercial interiors or ICI construction.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, drawings, and documentation.
  • Interest in growing into a Project Manager role is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
  • Prepare documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Track procurement, deliveries, and material schedules.
  • Support tender administration and subcontractor coordination.
  • Maintain project files, drawings, and updates across internal systems.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with reporting requirements.
  • Communicate with consultants, trades, and internal stakeholders to keep project milestones on track.
  • Provide on-site support as required, ensuring quality and compliance.

About the Role

This position is suited for a highly organized, detail-focused professional looking to advance into a leadership pathway while working closely with Project Managers and site teams.
