Security Clearance - Mandatory requirement for this position. No criminal record and a long term history of living and working in Canada. The successful candidate will be required to complete a security screening process, including background verification, a criminal record check, and fingerprinting. The screening process requires applicants to have a verifiable work and residency history in Canada covering the past 8-10 years with no criminal record.

Duties

Training / Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an administrative / office management role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required, including experience with day-to-day accounting and financial administration.
  • Formal, verifiable training in Microsoft Office software is required, including Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience with google, docusign and adobe and asset.
  • Candidates must have completed recognized computer/software training with demonstrated competency and typing skills; self-taught software experience alone will not meet this requirement
  • Construction industry experience is a strong asset
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident when communicating with management, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and government representatives
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work independently while also providing leadership and support to the office team

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for government contracts. Willingness to complete the required security screening, including fingerprinting and criminal record check.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
