We are currently looking for a dynamic Part-Time Assistant Manager.

The key responsibilities include:
  1. Assist with leading and managing a dedicated team of employees.
  2. Manage the guest experience to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
  3. Assist with managing the theatre budget and revenue growth.
  4. Forecast, initiate actions/projects to drive the business forward and reinforce Cineplex as Canada's premier film exhibition company.

This position offers excellent growth opportunities and can lead to more senior management roles such as Full-Time Theatre Manager, Senior Theatre Manager, or General Manager.

What you need to succeed:
  • Strong communication (oral & written), organization, management, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong computer aptitude.
  • Ability to initiate innovative sales and food service activities.
  • Safe food handling certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation relevant to theatre operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities while supporting employee development and meeting financial targets.
  • Previous management experience in a theatre, fast food, restaurant, or similar environment is an asset but not required.
