Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee residential dining operations in collaboration with the Manager and team. You will help manage service excellence, schedules, and staff development to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating catering orders and invoicing, maintaining inventory and Be a Star program, and upholding quality assurance and safety standards across the unit. Canadian work experience is not required.

• Perform administrative duties including cash register readings, inventory, banking, ordering, and the Be a Star Program administration.
• Be accountable for client and customer relationship building.
• Ensure compliance with Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs.

Job description

The salary for this position is $48,700-$50,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.
