Job summary

Compass Group Canada in Richmond is seeking a Unit Manager (Food Services) to lead daily foodservice operations on site. The role requires strong F&B background, team leadership, and hands-on support with bussing, dishwashing, and admin tasks.

You will log temperatures, maintain inventory, place orders, and ensure safety and sanitation. A car and willingness to work weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related food service management experience.
• Strong admin skills to work with Compass admin tasks and Air Canada admin tasks.
• Outstanding client relationship skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Replenish kitchenette/pantry area with food, beverage, and service items.
• Keep display equipment, pantry/kitchenette area clean and free of debris.
• Service area and assist with inventory, food storage and closeout tasks.
• Stock, clean and maintain pantry/kitchenette and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels and place orders.
• Receiving guests and deliveries service.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures.
• Receiving packages.
• Providing access to approved vendors/Landlord.
• Greeting those here for scheduled test drives.
• Providing basic product information and directing to website or sales contact on site.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.
