Nipissing University is seeking a Student Employment – NUWorks assistant to support the teaching greenhouse. You will plant, pot, water, fertilize, and tidy the greenhouse while working with faculty who train you on duties.
Hours are 5–10 per week at $17.60/hour plus vacation pay under ESA. This role helps support biology labs for undergraduate students and provides hands-on plant care experience on campus in North Bay.

Job Description:
The Assistant Greenhouse Technologist will assist with developing and maintaining the collection of plants used for undergraduate biology labs. Jobs will include collecting and potting plants, watering, fertilizing and weeding, as well as organizing and maintaining cleanliness and order of the teaching greenhouse. The Assistant Greenhouse Technologist will work alongside faculty who will train the student on all duties.
