Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, room service, and event catering
  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and efficiently
  • Uphold and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue targets
  • Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures across all F&B outlets
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to improve operations
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural sensitivities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant & Bar Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in a hotel setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
  • Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage cost control and inventory management
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and revenue management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
  • Knowledge of local cuisine and cultural sensitivities in Saudi Arabia (preferred)
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
