Independent Grocers Alliance in McMasterville, QC is looking for an assistant department manager to lead daily operations, support the department manager, and drive exceptional customer service. You will supervise staff, help implement pricing and inventory controls, and participate in store training programs.

You will collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth operations, inventory accuracy, and service standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in retail or customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to participate in training courses.
• Interest in learning about the role.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day management activities within the department in collaboration with the department manager.
• Provide team members with feedback for development and objectives.
• Collaborate with production and customer service clerks; ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity with manager guidance.

• perform day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager;
