Independent Grocers Alliance in Varennes, QC is seeking an Assistant Department Manager to lead day-to-day department operations and support the department manager in achieving objectives.

If you bring 2 years of retail or customer service experience, enjoy helping others, and are eager to learn, this role offers training courses and real opportunities for advancement within a friendly team.

Formación

• Handle day-to-day department activities in collaboration with the department manager.

What might a typical day look like?
As an assistant department manager, you will have to :

• perform day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager;
• provide team members with the feedback necessary for their professional development and the achievement of established objectives;
• collaborate with the production and customer service clerks; - Ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service
• in collaboration with the manager, ensure the management of inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness;
