Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporters for the Cash Services division at our Prince George, BC branch. The role involves safe pickup/delivery of valuables, driving armored vehicles, and completing daily reports. Training is provided, with a casual schedule and uniform supplied.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted firearms license (PAL)
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license with up to 6 demerit points
• Possess a BC Security Licence or be willing to obtain one if hired
• Capable of lifting loads up to 50 pounds
• Available for on-call evenings, nights, and/or weekend shifts with no guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service orientation and ability to handle stressful situations
• Highly organized with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines

Responsibilities

• Perform pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or repair ABM (ATM) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and maintain road safety
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete daily reports and paperwork
• Distribute and receive moneybags, receipts, and route materials to team members
• Verify bulk orders from vault and other sources while following GardaWorldCash procedures
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
• Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sourcesRespect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorldCash
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
• Possess a valid class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
• Possess a British Colombia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
• Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
• Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

Successful candidates will be required to complete a free training as required by the Federal Government for this role.
