Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporters for our Cash Services division at our Terrace, BC branch. The role involves safe pickups and cash transport, reloading ABMs, and maintaining security and accuracy on routes.

Starting wage is $21.32/hour with free training, full uniform, and a safe, professional work environment in a globally recognized security company. This is a casual, non-routine hours position offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid PAL and BC security license required.
• Class 5 driver’s license with up to 6 demerit points.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• On-call availability for evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe pickups and deliveries of cash values for clients.
• Reload or repair ABM units as needed.
• Maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers.
• Follow established routes and schedules with precision.
• Operate armored vehicle and ensure road safety at all times.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle and complete daily reports.

We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter’s for our Cash Services division at our branch in Terrace, BC.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork

  What we’re looking for

  • Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
  • Possess a valid class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
  • Possess a British Colombia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
  • Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
  • Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
  • Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
  • Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

  Successful candidates will be required to complete a free training as required by the Federal Government for this role.
