GardaWorld is hiring for a Cash Room Processor in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The role involves processing cash, coins and documents with accurate data entry, while adhering to security policies and safety standards.

Starting wage is CAD 22.34 per hour, with day shifts Monday to Friday and early start times as early as 4am. The position is on-site with parking and growth opportunities in a global security company.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Be available to work shifts that vary and start as early as 4am.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and MS Office.
• Committed to safe job performance in a hands‑on environment.
• Reliable, conscientious and responsible team member.
• Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, coins and other negotiable documents.
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Generate reports for clients and balancing purposes.
• Enter contents of ABM envelopes, night deposits or ATM returns into the cash processing system with accuracy.
• Follow GardaWorld security policies and procedures.
• Maintain departmental productivity standards.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

We are hiring Cash Room Processor’s for our Cash Services division in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

What you will be doing

• Processing cash, coins and other negotiable documents
• Able to comfortably bend and lift upwards of 50 lbs
• Generate the required reports for clients and other balancing purposes
• Enter contents of customer’s ABM envelopes, night deposits or ATM returns into a cash processing system ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained at all times
• Respect GardaWorld politics and security regulations
• Maintain departmental productivity standards
• Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
• All other related tasks
