Job summary

GardaWorld Cash Services is hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporters for our Owen Sound, Ontario branch. This casual position offers starting wages of $23.80 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Training is provided, and full uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) for firearms.
• Must hold a valid G class driver’s license with minimal demerit points.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Available for on-call evenings, nights and/or weekend shifts with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe pickups and deliveries of valuables for each client.
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM devices from various financial institutions.
• Maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers on routes.
• Follow established routes and schedules closely.
• Drive armored vehicle and adhere to road safety protocols at all times.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle and manage cash bags securely.
• Complete daily reports and paperwork.
• Distribute and receive moneybags, receipts, route guides, and keys to teammates.
• Verify bulk orders from vaults, other departments, and external sources.
• Adhere to GardaWorld Cash procedures and regulations.
• Participate in additional duties as needed.

We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter’s for our Cash Services division at our branch in Owen Sound, ON

Qualified candidates will receive a $2k Sign On Bonus when hired with GardaWorld Cash.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
• Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sources
• Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorldCash
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
• Possess a valid G class driver's license with a maximum loss of 3 demerit points
• Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
• Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

Successful candidates will be required to complete a free training as required by the Federal Government for this role.
