Job summary

Brink's Canada is seeking a part-time Guards, Drivers and Messengers to support secure deliveries and customer service in Halifax and surrounding areas. You will be part of an amazing team that builds relationships with clients every day.

New to the industry? Rigorous training is provided to ensure you are confident in all duties, including driver training and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Reliable and safety-focused; customer service mindset.
• Highly organized with minimal on-site supervision.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with timelines.
• Must carry a firearm in performance of duties; PAL required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe deliveries to clients following assigned routes.
• Operate an armored vehicle in a safe manner.
• Use safety orientation to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Load, unload and service ATMs for financial institution clients.
• Complete daily route records.

As a member of our operations team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform safe and efficient deliveries to clients by following your assigned routes
• Operate an armoured vehicle in a safe manner
• Use your safety and security orientation to ensure a safe environment for yourself, clients and colleagues
• Load, unload and perform repairs to ATM's for our Financial Institution clients
• Complete daily route records

New to the industry? That's ok! We offer rigorous training to ensure you are comfortable in the performance of all of your duties, including extensive driver training.

• All of our Guards, Drivers and Messengers are required to carry a firearm in the performance of their duties, a PAL for restricted and non-restricted firearms is required.
• A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record - see the licence requirement for your province below
• In British Columbia, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI - a provincial security guard licence
• Capable of pushing, pulling and lifting loads of up to 35lbs
• Available for various shifts at least two days per week - days, evenings, nights and weekends are available

Drivers Licence Qualifications

Alberta : Class 5

British Columbia : Class 5 or above

Manitoba : Class 5F or above

New Brunswick : Class 5

Nova Scotia : Class 5

Newfoundland and Labrador : Class 5

Northwest Territories : Class 5

Ontario : G

Prince Edward Island : Class 5

Quebec : Class 3 or above

Saskatchewan : Class 5

Yukon : Class 5
