Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporters for our Cash Services division at our Victoria, BC branch. This casual, on-site position offers a starting wage of CAD 24.94 per hour and requires a valid PAL, a Class 5 license, and BC Security Licence.

You will perform safe pickups and deliveries, load/unload armored vehicles, complete reports, and ensure secure handling of money and valuables. Successful candidates will need on-call availability for evenings, nights, and weekends, and must

Responsibilities

• Perform pickups and deliveries of values safely and efficiently for each client.
• Reload or repair ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions.
• Drive an armored vehicle and follow road safety at all times; load and unload moneybags.
• Complete daily reports and paperwork; verify bulk orders and distribute route guides.
• Respect GardaWorldCash procedures and regulations; participate in on-call duties as needed.

We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporters for our Cash Services division at our branch in Victoria, BC.

Location: Victoria, British Columbia, CA

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
• Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sources
• Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorldCash
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
• Possess a British Columbia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
• Capable of lifting loads up to 50 pounds
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights, and/or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
• Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

Successful candidates will be required to complete a free training as required by the Federal Government for this role.
