CFMWS – WHERE PURPOSE MEETS PASSION! Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is seeking an Arena Attendant to monitor and maintain the ice rink and assist patrons with inquiries.
Under the supervision of the Arena Superintendent, you will ensure ice quality, operate edging and brushing equipment, and control access to the facility for authorized clients. English required, on-site position with varied shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Under the supervision of the Arena Superintendent, the Arena Attendant monitors and maintains the ice rink. They respond to inquiries about the facility, hours, regulations and rules, and provide information on services provided. The Arena Attendant maintains good ice conditions by scraping, shovelling, brushing and hosing the ice, they operate the edger to level out ice along the boards, as required, and ensure that access to the facility and services is by authorized clients only.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field.
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will also be considered.
AND
Current CPR and basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In ice rink maintenance
In operating ice rink equipment
In providing customer service
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
