Job Title: Area Team Leader - Shipping & Service at INNIO Group

Role Overview

The Area Team Leader supports, coaches, and develops team members in their assigned area. They work closely with the Functional Leader to ensure workflow aligns with schedules and targets, facilitate cross-functional support, and ensure high-quality, on-time product delivery. The role models safety, quality, efficiency, and communication, provides feedback, manages conflicts, and promotes employee engagement and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and coach team members within their designated area.
  2. Coordinate staffing needs with the Functional Lead.
  3. Drive KPIs and communicate results.
  4. Communicate with customers and suppliers as needed.
  5. Act as the main contact for maintenance issues, participating in TPM meetings and raising concerns.
  6. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and preventative measures.
  7. Ensure safety protocols, equipment use, and PPE compliance.
  8. Plan and manage scheduling, including shifts, vacations, and overtime.
  9. Maintain 6S standards and pursue continuous improvement initiatives.
  10. Develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  11. Promote learning and development within the team.
  12. Foster a respectful, positive, and collaborative work environment.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
  14. Identify training needs and develop training plans.
  15. Participate in employee reviews and ongoing feedback processes.
  16. Engage in projects related to Lean operations, safety, quality, and process improvements.
  17. Attend team leader meetings, trainings, and workshops.
Qualifications
  • Completed probationary period.
  • Not on a coaching plan in the last 6 months.
  • Experience as WSO/ATL or Trainer is a plus.
  • Proven respectful leadership skills.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts, including days, afternoons, weekends, and overnight.
  • High digital aptitude.
