Job summary

WestUrban Developments Ltd. is seeking an Area Manager to lead our property management team across Vernon, Kelowna, and Salmon Arm.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and staff across multiple residential properties, both in office and on-site. The ideal candidate has at least two years of supervisory experience in property management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance priorities while maintaining high standards of safety and service for residents

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in property management or related supervisory role.
• Experience managing multiple properties is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Buildium).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple residential properties.
• Supervise and support on-site staff including Building Managers and maintenance personnel.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain tenant relations and handle inquiries and issues promptly.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs and document workflows.
• Ensure fire safety plans and compliance across sites.
• Travel between properties as required.
