Job summary

Realstar is seeking an Assistant Resident Manager for a 2-person on-site team. The role includes living on-site with a four-weekday schedule, every other weekend, and occasional on-call evening shifts. Base compensation is $45,000 per person with a rent-free apartment suite and benefits.

Responsibilities include cleaning, minor maintenance, preparing vacant suites, and supporting leasing while delivering excellent service to residents and prospects. Training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in property management is a plus.
• WHMIS knowledge and safe cleaning practices.
• Ability to perform general cleaning and minor maintenance.
• Experience with leasing processes is helpful.
• Willingness for on-call evening shifts and on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas of the property (hallways, stairwells, amenities).
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare vacant suites for new residents.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects.
• Assist with leasing of suites.
• Respond to on-call requests as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of property (hallways, stairwells, amenities)
• Minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting
• Preparing vacant apartment suites for new residents
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents
• Assisting with leasing suites
• Responding to on-call requests

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Previous or similar property management experience (an asset)
• Display a professional/presentable appearance
• Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties, and minor maintenance repairs
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, items could include garbage bins, furniture, appliances or while performing snow removal duties, sometimes for extended periods of time
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
