Northland Properties Corporation is seeking an Architectural Technologist to support the building design of new construction and renovation projects within our expanding portfolio of Hotels, Restaurants, and Resorts.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for projects including hotels, restaurants, resorts, and renovations.
- Ensure construction documentation accuracy and compliance with project specifications, building codes, regulations, IFC standards, and industry guidelines.
- Coordinate permitting activities and documentation for project development, including land acquisition and permit applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate approval processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Create high-quality visual representations of project designs for permitting and presentation purposes.
- Support interior design coordination for new construction and renovations, ensuring seamless integration.
- Coordinate drawings across disciplines for effective communication and project integration.
- Respond to RFIs and track queries from contractors and stakeholders.
- Administer contracts, review shop drawings, and perform site inspections as needed.
- Mentor team members in technical skills, drafting techniques, and software use.
- Support company culture and represent Northland Properties professionally.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience.
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience producing complete construction drawings with multidisciplinary input.
- Experience with municipal permitting processes and coordinating with consultants.
- Knowledge of building envelope, construction practices, and systems.
- Experience with Wood Frame Construction preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of construction details, materials, and specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the Canada and British Columbia Building Codes.
