Job summary

Vaco/Highspring’s client is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable specialist in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves invoicing, payments, vendor management, and banking reconciliation, with QuickBooks Online and Fleet experience preferred.

Compensation ranges from $25–$30 CAD per hour, with eligible discretionary bonuses and benefits. Local candidates residing in the GTA who can work in Canada will be contacted if profile fits requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue approximately 150 customer invoices
• Process delivery confirmations and PODs
• Generate invoices through Fleet and QuickBooks Online
• Upload invoices to customer portals
• Follow up on collections twice weekly
• Apply and reconcile customer payments
• Review daily banking activity
• Complete weekly and monthly Pathward reporting
• Enter COGS invoices into Fleet
• Process operating and repair invoices in QuickBooks Online
• Maintain supplier accounts
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Process supplier payments across Canadian, U.S., and Mexican vendors
• Process credit card payments
• Process employee and driver reimbursements
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
• Complete additional accounting duties as assigned

About the Opportunity

• Generate invoices through Fleet and QuickBooks Online
• Upload invoices to customer portals
• Follow up on collections twice weekly
• Apply and reconcile customer payments

Pay Range

$25 - $30 per hour
