Vaco/Highspring is seeking an Accounting Administrator for a fast-paced environment in the Greater Toronto Area. You will handle high-volume payment processing, apply payments to invoices, and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires 2+ years in AR or cash applications, strong Excel and ERP system skills, and the ability to work independently in a repetitive transactional setting while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

About the Opportunity

• Applying customer payments to invoices
• Posting EFT, ACH, wire, cheque and credit card payments
• Matching payments to customer accounts/invoices
• Researching and resolving unapplied cash
• Reviewing remittance details
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Investigating payment discrepancies
• Basic reconciliation and reporting
• High-volume payment/application entry
• Accurate and timely transaction processing
• Maintaining customer/account records
• Comfortable working with repetitive transactional data
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

About You

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or a related accounting role.
• Strong attention to det and research unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, repetitive transactional environment.

Salary Range

$24 - $25 / hr
