Job description

Our Apprentice Power Systems Technicians continue to develop their skills on the job alongside our experienced and trusted Technicians. This role is designed to gradually progress toward becoming a EGS Technician.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$34.24 - $44.03

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar and other brands of power generation equipment (e.g., diesel and gas generators, switchgear, transfer switches)
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using Caterpillar diagnostic tools and software
• Prepare accurate and timely service reports and documentation
• Ensure customer needs are met efficiently and professionally in a collaborative environment focused on career development and lifelong learning

Must-haves for this role:

• Minimum high school diploma
• Currently enrolled in or completed a Post-Secondary Power Systems Technician or Electrical Technician program
