Job summary

Toromont Cat in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our team. Registered Apprentices will learn on the job with experienced Technicians toward a Licensed Technician opportunity.

The position is full-time and permanent, with compensation between $34.99 and $44.98 per hour. The role includes a total rewards package and opportunities for flexible schedules across Eastern Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Currently enrolled, or completion of a Post-Secondary Heavy Equipment Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours.
• Repair Caterpillar and other brands of equipment for our customers in a timely and economical manner.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems using Caterpillar testing equipment.
• Prepare service reports and service documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Meet customer needs in a professional, collaborative environment.

Toromont Cat is looking for an Apprentice Technicians to join our team at Hamilton! Our Registered Apprentice Technicians, when not in school, will continue to learn on the job with our experienced, trusted Technicians gradually progressing to achieve a Licensed Technician opportunity.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$34.99 - $44.98
