Job summary

Bridgepoint Maintenance is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician based in Peterborough, Ontario. You will diagnose and repair residential appliances at customers’ homes across Ontario, ensuring safe, functional operation after each service call.

The role requires independent troubleshooting, pride in workmanship, and reliable transportation to job sites. You will use diagnostic equipment and a smartphone to manage work orders and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional appliance repair experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Comfortable working in customers’ homes and documenting work.
• Pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• Own vehicle, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficient with a smartphone for work orders, navigation, photos and reporting.
• Knows when a repair is outside approved scope.
• Communicates professionally with customers and operations team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues and determine the repair approach.
• Perform repairs and part replacements as needed.
• Document work with photos and digital reporting.
• Coordinate with dispatch for scheduling and parts.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located in the same country, city, or region where the job is posted. The successful candidate must be available to attend a local office, meeting, training session, or company event if requested.
