Job summary

Bridgepoint Maintenance is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician for field-based work in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing appliances in customers' homes, using your own tools, and communicating results to clients and dispatch.

This on-site field role requires independence, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You’ll join a team supporting ongoing residential repair assignments with scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional appliance repair experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Comfortable working in customers' homes.
• Own vehicle, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficient using a smartphone for work orders, navigation, photos and reporting.
• Understands when a repair is outside the approved scope.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, microwaves and range hoods.
• Perform part replacements and follow-up visits after parts arrive.
• Document work with photos and digital reporting.
• Provide clear explanations to customers and coordinate with operations.
