Job summary

Bridgepoint Maintenance provides residential maintenance and repair services across Ontario. Appliance repair technicians diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete follow-up visits to ensure homes are safe and functional.

You’ll work on different appliances daily, in customers’ homes, using your own vehicle and diagnostic tools. This field-based role offers ongoing assignments, digital work orders, and support from an experienced dispatch team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional appliance repair experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Comfortable working in customers’ homes and explaining repairs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues and perform repairs in customers' homes.
• Explain repairs and ensure appliances operate correctly with quality testing.
• Document work orders with photos and digital reporting; communicate with dispatch.

Some calls are straightforward. Others require experience, troubleshooting, and good judgment. We’re looking for technicians who can confidently diagnose the issue, explain the repair, complete quality work, and leave knowing the appliance is operating properly.

• Has at least 3 years of professional appliance repair experience
• Can troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Enjoys working in customers’ homes
• Takes pride in quality workmanship
• Has their own vehicle, tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Is comfortable using a smartphone for work orders, navigation, photos, and reporting
• Understands when a repair is outside their approved scope
• Communicates professionally with customers and our operations team
