Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking an experienced Cleaner to maintain clean and sanitized communities in Broadway Centre (Downtown Calgary) or Patrician Village (NW Calgary). You will perform cleaning across entrances, common areas and vacant suites, supporting inventory and equipment upkeep in a fast-paced multi-site environment.

The role requires 2 years of cleaning experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift and be on your feet for long periods.

Qualifications

• 2 years cleaning experience required.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas.
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups.
• Interior and exterior garbage pickup.
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required.
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management.
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly.
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required.

Experience And Educational Requirements:

Technical Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
