Job summary

Boardwalk in Calgary is seeking an experienced Cleaner to keep our Varsity Square Apartments and common areas clean and safe. You will handle entrances, corridors, laundry rooms, and vacant suites, working independently while supporting a team.

The role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and a commitment to service. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are preferred to support site coverage.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of cleaning experience.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our Resident Members
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

Experience And Educational Requirements

• 2 years cleaning experience required

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
