Vaco is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist in the Greater Toronto Area to review, process, and match vendor invoices with purchase orders, verify pricing and documentation, and ensure timely payments. You will reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain meticulous vendor records within ERP and Excel environments.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable and processing high-volume AP transactions.
• Ability to resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices and payments.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems for data reconciliation.

About the Opportunity

• Review, process, and match vendor invoices against purchase orders, verifying pricing, quantities, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and execute scheduled payment runs, including cheque and electronic fund transfers, ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and investigate outstanding or inconsistent transactions.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, files, and supporting documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
• Review aged and outstanding purchase orders, investigating discrepancies and following up on unresolved items.

Vendor Support & Issue Resolution

• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues before established due dates.
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain required invoice approvals and address outstanding accounts payable matters.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders through clear and consistent communication.

About You

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable and processing high-volume AP transactions. Have to know how to resolve discrepancies
• Great communication skills with a great attitude
• Excel, ERP experience.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $65,000/year
