As part of our dynamic Advisory Services team, you will support major projects and programs across North America, providing commercial, financial, and risk advisory services. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative infrastructure initiatives while developing your expertise in project delivery.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

As an Analyst - Commercial Risk, you will play a key role in supporting project teams and Project Managers in the successful delivery of advisory services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting project teams in the delivery of commercial, financial, and risk advisory services for major projects/programs.
  • Preparing reports, technical memos, financial models, and other deliverables.
  • Conducting research, data collection, data entry, and analysis to support project outcomes.
  • Organizing and participating in internal and client meetings, preparing relevant presentation materials.
  • Documenting and tracking critical action items and decisions from meetings.
  • Monitoring project changes and schedule deviations, ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Providing administrative support and undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Assisting with Jacobs’ internal project processes and controls as needed.

Note: This role does not involve design or engineering work. However, a strong understanding of these disciplines is considered an asset.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience delivering advisory services for major infrastructure projects.
  • Project management and contract management experience, with a basic understanding of project payment structures and schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical abilities and familiarity with analytical frameworks.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a high level of resourcefulness and self-direction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an organized and detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation software is considered an asset.
