Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Canada is seeking an Application Specialist – ALPHACAM to support ALPHACAM adoption across Canada. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, connecting customer manufacturing needs with ALPHACAM solutions and leading tailored software demonstrations.

The role focuses on consultative solution selling and technical enablement, collaborating with Sales and cross-functional teams while traveling within Canada as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with CAM software and CNC manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, machining strategies, and manufacturing workflows.
• Direct experience with ALPHACAM is strongly preferred.
• Previous customer-facing technical experience such as Applications Engineering or Pre-Sales is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery and deliver ALPHACAM demonstrations.
• Serve as the technical expert for ALPHACAM during pre-sales and customer engagements.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, production requirements, and pain points.
• Deliver customized demonstrations based on customer applications and real-world scenarios.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
• Provide technical validation and address questions on software functionality, integrations, and applications.
• Develop sample programs, workflows, proofs of concept, and technical materials to support opportunities.
• Communicate the value of ALPHACAM to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Services and Support for a consistent customer experience.
• Contribute to technical content, demonstrations, and best-practice workflows.
• Support customer and partner presentations at events and demonstrations.
• Maintain knowledge of ALPHACAM capabilities and manufacturing trends.
• Provide feedback to internal teams to improve products and solutions.
• Travel across Canada up to five days per month.
