Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking a Permanent Part Time On Call Customer Service Agent based in Kelowna. The ideal candidate will be safety-minded and customer-focused, ready to join a family-oriented and dynamic team.

This role involves check-in, reservations, handling disruptions, and providing a friendly passenger experience while promoting company services. Weekend/evening shifts and strict accuracy in procedures are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Clear and effective communication skills with ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive, ever-changing environment with multitasking and problem solving.
• Comfortable using computers, credit and debit machines.
• Flexible to work any day of the week, including weekends, evenings, holidays and/or irregular shifts.
• Must represent Pacific Coastal Airlines in a professional manner to partners, vendors, and customers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, verify immigration documents.
• Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges.
• Answer calls, book, change and cancel flight reservations.
• Resolve service disruption issues and determine alternative flight options.
• Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe, on-time departure.
• Promote company products, services, processes and guidelines at all times.
• Commit to safe, stress-free and friendly passenger experience.
• Deliver service standards per Pacific Coastal Airlines philosophy.
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs safely and professionally, using ground service equipment as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
