Job summary

Definity seeks a Model Risk Oversight professional within Enterprise Risk Management to strengthen governance of AI/model risk across the lifecycle, aligning with MRMP and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will execute governance, validation, and oversight activities across models and systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantitative disciplines with 5+ years in insurance/financial modelling.
• Strong knowledge of modelling techniques and validation.
• Experience in governance, validation, and monitoring of AI/model risk.
• Familiarity with Trustworthy AI, regulatory requirements, and risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee model risk governance programs with metrics and reporting.
• Challenge the business to ensure AI/model risks are evaluated and mitigated.
• Perform detailed technical reviews (validation, performance monitoring) as defined by MRMP.
• Communicate observations and findings to management and stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with key business partners to improve risk mitigation.
• Lead the attestation process for policy/standards compliance.
• Contribute to AI/model risk reporting and risk analytics.
