EQ Bank is hiring a Senior Manager, Risk Analytics, Models & Insights to lead the development, enhancement, and governance of enterprise credit risk models. You will support AIRB and IFRS 9 model life cycles, deliver risk insights to senior management, and drive analytics across the bank.

You will mentor teams, champion AI-enabled analytics, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work environment in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in credit risk model development or analytics.
• Strong knowledge of AIRB, IFRS 9, stress testing and ICAAP.
• Advanced programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Generative AI or automation is a plus.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and monitor credit risk models and analytics across AIRB, IFRS 9, ICAAP and related activities.
• Perform quantitative analysis, calibration, validation support, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Data, Technology, Audit, and Model Risk Management stakeholders.
• Contribute to robust data infrastructure for model development and analytics.
• Review data used in model development for required changes or improvements.
• Implement models and analyses in support of regulatory reporting and disclosures.
• Prepare model documentation and technical reports for audits and reviews.
• Leverage AI, ML, and automation to improve model development and risk monitoring.
