Purpose Unlimited, a Canadian financial services innovator, is rebuilding credit risk for the AI era. We are seeking a practitioner who can design governance for ML models, ensure accuracy, and embed human judgment into an increasingly automated function.

You will help decide which tasks are AI-driven versus human-driven, build the models and workflows that steer portfolio decisions, and define governance that makes outcomes defensible.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in credit risk, quantitative risk, or risk analytics in financial services.
• Experience building or validating ML models in credit or risk context.
• Strong Python and SQL; hands-on experience with modern data warehousing.
• Ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build governance framework for ML models.
• Incorporate human judgment into risk function.
• Develop risk strategies as AI tooling matures.
• Connect model outputs to business decisions.
