Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a senior professional to prospect and manage a portfolio of small agricultural clients, promoting Desjardins products to grow the centre's business.

The role acts as a key bridge between the centre and members, analyzing needs and offering integrated service solutions, negotiating terms, and driving profitability and risk management while maintaining satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Six years of relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Knowledge of the latest financial, economic, policy and legislative developments.
• Ability to perform analyses of the market and the business centre external environment.
• Ability to perform financial analysis.
• Knowledge of loan and guarantee contracts.
• Knowledge of products and services for businesses and those offered by caisses and Desjardins networks.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with current and potential clients to promote and sell Desjardins products and services.
• Act as an account manager between the business centre and members/clients, ensuring satisfaction with products and services and addressing dissatisfaction.
• Identify and analyze member/client needs, develop personalized solutions and negotiate conditions.
• Recommend strategies to achieve objectives like increased volume, risk management, profitability and stronger relationships.
• Identify opportunities for business development to boost competitiveness of Desjardins offerings.
• Execute promotional activities and participate in public relations within the business community.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws governing the distribution of financial products and services.
