Job summary

Humberview Volkswagen in Etobicoke is seeking a Parts Advisor to support customers and the service department by identifying, sourcing, ordering, and selling automotive parts. You’ll help maintain accurate inventory, assist technicians with required parts, and ensure every customer receives fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally at the counter.
• Deliver parts to the shop and distribute to technicians.
• Sell parts over the counter, by phone, and to customers.
• Help customers choose parts and explain product lines.
• Prepare orders for shipment, delivery, or pickup.
• Review back orders and manage files weekly.
• Process returns and issue credits for parts.
• Assist with shipping/receiving when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Parts Manager.

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play an important role in supporting both customers and the service department by identifying, sourcing, ordering, and selling automotive parts. Compensation

Base salary plus monthly performance bonus; ranging from $42,000 to $60,000 a year.

What You'll Do

• Greets and assists all customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Delivers parts to the shop when needed and distributes to the appropriate technician.
• Sells parts through the shop, by phone, over the counter to customers.
• Assists walk-in and wholesale customers with the selection of parts and informs customers about the product line.
• Prepares orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
• Reviews files weekly to keep track of back orders.
• Issues credit for parts returned.
• Assists with shipping/receiving when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Parts Manager.
