Job summary

Humberview Volkswagen in Etobicoke is seeking a Parts Advisor to support customers and the service department by identifying, sourcing, ordering, and selling automotive parts. You’ll help maintain inventory and assist technicians with parts.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the dealership environment with a base salary plus monthly performance bonus. Compensation ranges from CAD 42,000 to CAD 60,000 per year, plus benefits and growth opportunities within The Humberview Group.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
• Experience with CDK software is an asset.
• Knowledge of Volkswagen products is an asset.
• Ability to learn and utilize electronic parts catalogues.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists all customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Delivers parts to the shop when needed and distributes to the appropriate technician.
• Sells parts through the shop, by phone, over the counter to customers.
• Assists walk-in and wholesale customers with the selection of parts and informs customers about the product line.
• Prepares orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
• Reviews files weekly to keep track of back orders.
• Issues credit for parts returned.
• Assists with shipping/receiving when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Parts Manager.
