Job summary

The Humberview Group in Etobicoke is seeking a Parts Driver to keep the parts department running smoothly. You will pick up and deliver parts to dealerships, customers, and vendors while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, good GTA knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior automotive/delivery experience is preferred. The Humberview Group is a leading Ontario dealer group with strong growth and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily parts runs on schedule.
• Pick up and deliver parts within our dealerships and to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and suppliers.
• Assist parts warehouse with inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks.
• Assist with basic parts advising as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the parts van.
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

As a Parts Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Parts Department running efficiently. You’ll be responsible for safely picking up and delivering automotive parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts, and vendors, while providing excellent customer service.

You’ll also help maintain inventory accuracy and ensure payments are collected and matched with invoices upon delivery.

Compensation: $18 to $22 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Completing daily parts runs on schedule.
• Parts driver will be expected to pick up and deliver parts (within our dealerships & to customers).
• Displaying exceptional customer service to our clients and suppliers throughout daily parts run.
• Assisting the parts warehouse with inventory, shipping, receiving and various tasks as required.
• Assisting with basic parts advising as required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the parts van.
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

What We Look For

• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Good geographical knowledge of the GTA.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous automotive industry or delivery driving experience is preferred.
• The ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
