A nonprofit organization in British Columbia seeks an Adult Program Manager to lead adult learning initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality, learner-centered experiences and managing instructors. Purpose of Position
The Adult Program Manager plays a key leadership role in the planning, coordination, and execution of inclusive adult learning programs and services. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of LDS’ adult education initiatives, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, learner-centered experiences. The Adult Program Manager provides case management to support individual learner success and works closely with instructors to ensure they have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to deliver engaging and accessible instruction.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of adult learning programs aligning with organizational goals and community needs
- Support instructors through onboarding, coaching, and curriculum collaboration
- Support intake, placement, and learner support processes, including learner profiles
- Oversee adult learning case management and act as a key point of contact for learners and instructors
- Analyze feedback to inform program improvements and reporting
- Monitor program delivery to ensure it is inclusive, accessible, and responsive to learner needs
- Contribute to professional development in best practices for adult learning
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and equity

Requirements
-3+ years of relevant professional experience in an educational environment, including experience managing instructors. Experience in a post-secondary environmentispreferred.
-Undergraduate degree or other education in a relevant discipline.
-Experience working in the education field with an understanding of neurodiversity andneuroaffirmingpractices.
-Experiencemanaging individual learning plans, including developing and delivering educational materials to diverse learners.
-Robust oral and written communication skills with a focus on plain language communication (Englishrequired, French notrequired, other languageproficienciesare an asset).
-Demonstratedcompetency or willingness to learn adult learning theories and approaches.
-All applicants must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Criminal record check with the vulnerable sector (to be provided as a condition of employment if selected).
Start date: As soon as possible.
Reports to:This position reports to the Senior Manager, Youth and Adult Programs
Hours of work:37.5 hoursper week plus a30-minuteunpaid break. Split evenly over Mondays to Fridays each week. Schedule could be 8:30 – 4:30 or 9:00 – 5:00.
Remuneration and Benefits: 56,000 – 65,000 per annum.

Location:East Vancouver (3292 E Broadway) - travel to our North Vancouver location (1277 Lynn Valley Road) as required
Job Type: Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week split evenly over Monday to Friday.
