BRP is seeking an administrative technician to join the research and development centre team in Valcourt, Quebec. You will handle purchase orders for multiple teams and directly influence delivery timing for development projects.
Responsibilities include validating requests, creating POs, tracking shipments, and serving as the main contact for suppliers. Strong French and English communication with minimal supervision is required.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and versatile administrative technician to join the research and development centre team. As a team member, you will handle the purchase orders for members of several teams. Thanks to your efforts, you will directly influence the delivery of orders related to all our development projects.
Validate the compliance of purchase requests.
Create purchase orders.
Track purchase requests and transportation.
Act as the unique point of contact for suppliers.
Influence the operation of processes.
A diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in secretarial studies, a diploma of college studies (DCS) in administrative techniques, or other relevant equivalents.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Capable of working with minimal supervision (autonomous and proactive).
Proficiency in French 4/5 and English 4/5, an English language proficiency of 4/5 is required for the position, as you will need to communicate regularly with international suppliers/carriers.
