Job summary

BRP is seeking a procurement and supply planning professional to drive product availability and optimize inventory, costs, and supply risk across a defined product portfolio.

You will develop supply plans, manage orders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate terms and monitor supplier performance. Strong English skills are required with French an asset; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Degree in business or supply chain related field.
  • 3–5 years in procurement, supply planning or inventory management.
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • English proficiency; French/English bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an optimal supply plan for the products under your responsibility.
  • Create, manage, and adjust purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with supplier agreements and procurement parameters.
  • Maintain master data and procurement settings in company systems.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet availability targets and optimize turnover.
  • Provide visibility on supply risks, constraints and opportunities.
  • Analyze data to support inventory optimization decisions.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and contribute to pricing and terms.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Logistics and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify risks related to supplier capacity and material availability and implement corrective actions.

Job description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in driving supply chain performance through strategic procurement, supply planning, and supplier relationship management for your assigned product portfolio. You will directly contribute to product availability while optimizing inventory levels, costs, and supply risks.

You Will Have The Opportunity To
Procurement and Order Management
  • Develop and maintain an optimal supply plan for the products under your responsibility.
  • Create, manage, and adjust purchase orders to support evolving business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with supplier agreements and procurement parameters.
  • Maintain accurate master data and procurement settings within company systems.
Demand Management and Inventory Optimization
  • Manage inventory levels to achieve product availability targets while optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Provide proactive visibility on supply risks, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Produce and communicate analyses that support business decision-making and inventory optimization initiatives.
Supplier Performance and Relationship Optimization
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across your portfolio.
  • Participate in the negotiation of pricing, commercial terms, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams.
Supply Chain Expertise and Risk Management
  • Develop and implement sourcing and supply strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Engineering, Product Development, and Quality teams.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate risks related to supplier capacity, material availability, and business continuity.
  • Act as a key contributor in resolving supply chain challenges and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply planning, inventory management, or a related function.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or complex supply chain environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP is considered an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in English; bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
