Would you enjoy leading a team in a fast-paced, complex, change-oriented environment that impacts front-line healthcare services? PSS supports daily scheduling tasks of AHS employees & managers. As the Scheduler Team Lead, you will provide expertise in staffing operations, direct staffing clerks, monitor workloads, and collaborate with the SSC Manager. You will process payroll via ESP, analyze time admin reports, and resolve pay errors. Supporting Unit Managers, Charge Nurses, and Relief Managers, you will ensure staffing plans and schedules are current and accurate. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for resolving scheduling issues and anticipating staffing needs. You will also mentor peers and promote a positive work environment, utilizing conflict resolution skills within your team and with clients. The role supports North Zone and operates during SSC hours.
As an Administrative Support V, you will support complex procedures and initiatives within a department or program, requiring advanced administrative or specialized skills.
Required: Post-secondary education (e.g., office or business administration certificate).
Additional: Staff scheduling experience with scheduling applications, 1-year full-time experience in an AHS ESP Staffing Office in the past 5 years, current experience as a Scheduler Team Lead within an AHS Staffing Service Center, and timekeeping experience in ESP.
Preferred: Leadership skills, completion of Scheduler Team Lead training, knowledge of collective agreements and pay codes.
