Alberta Health Services seeks an Administrative Support IV for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, providing advanced administrative support within Site Administration. The role requires handling complex procedures, scheduling, timekeeping, payroll support, recruitment coordination, and records management with discretion.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Alberta Health Services currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of an Administrative Professional diploma, Office Assistant certificate, Business Administration certificate, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant administrative experience. Minimum two years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or another complex operational environment. Experience with several of the following: staff scheduling, timekeeping or payroll support, recruitment and onboarding coordination, records management, and routine financial transactions. Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a busy environment. Strong communication, judgment, discretion, and collaboration skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience within AHS or another large healthcare organization. Experience with e-People, ESP, RMS, Connect Care, SharePoint, or related systems. Experience supporting scheduling and payroll processes in a unionized environment. Advanced Excel, reporting, or data-management skills.
