This four‑month role starts January 2027 and offers hands‑on experience on real projects, with mentorship and learning opportunities across administration activities. Responsibilities

  • Join Atlantic Canada district as an Administrative Student for 4 months starting January 2027.
  • Field calls, perform filing, data entry, and document formatting.
  • Fill in for office receptionist as needed.
  • Conduct Internet research and prepare Word docs, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assist with board meeting prep and material distribution.
  • Support overflow work and mailroom tasks as required.
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory; process electronic invoices.
  • Provide additional support as required.

Responsibilities

Join us as an Administrative Student for our Atlantic Canada district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as an Administrative Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

  • Fielding telephone calls, filing, and data entry, typing of various correspondence, and formatting of documents.
  • Filling in for office receptionist as required.
  • Performing a variety of Internet research functions.
  • Preparing word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assisting with board meeting preparation (i.e. coordination of information, preparing tabs, distribution of board material, room setup, and beverage/food setup).
  • Assisting with overflow work from other administrative staff.
  • Handling incoming/outgoing mail – relief in mailroom as required.
  • Maintaining office supply inventory and orders as appropriate.
  • Distribution of electronic invoices.
  • Additional support and duties, as required.
Qualifications
  • Must be proficient on the computer and have intermediate skills in MS software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and energetic.
  • Able to work with a diverse workforce and interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
