Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking an organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. You will manage day-to-day AR activities, process customer payments, monitor outstanding balances, and support month-end processes with accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AR experience, post-secondary education in Accounting/Finance/Business, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and reconciliations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts, invoicing, billing adjustments, and AR records.
• Process payments via PAD, credit card, EFT, and other methods.
• Apply and reconcile payments; investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Review aged receivables and follow up with customers on balances.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist with basic bookkeeping, GL entries, and month-end tasks.
• Prepare AR reports and aging summaries.
