Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking an Accounts Receivable Advisor to support our residences with Point Click Care billing and collections, leveraging Yardi to manage resident billing and payments. The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with home office and site teams.

The position requires reviewing aging, overseeing month-end closings, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies while maintaining client relations and providing training as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration.
• Experience in general accounting in a complex computerized environment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Yardi is an asset.
• English/French bilingual skills are an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident billing processes using Yardi.
• Review monthly reports and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Maintain procedures for receivables processes.
• Oversee month-end balancing, closing, and billing and EFTs.
• Monitor deposits and follow up on PGT's and CTS deposits.
• Monitor rate increases and census for accuracy.
• Prepare resident rent increases calculations.
• Follow up on resident refunds (current and stale dated).
• Process NSF payments and track collections over 30 days.
• Prepare monthly AR Aging analyses for sites as needed.
• Provide training and support to residences as required.
• Uphold ethics, integrity and organizational values.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
