Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services in Canada seeks an Accounts Receivable professional to set up customer accounts, post cash receipts, and process payments. You will deposit cheques, resolve discrepancies, and manage monthly statements. Strong English communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Candidates with 1–3 years AR experience and post-secondary education are preferred and must be available during local emergencies. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ AR, customer setup and cash posting experience preferred.
• Post-secondary education preferred, or similar in education and experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and understanding of computerized accounting systems.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Be available for work during power outages or state of emergency in Ontario.

About the Opportunity

• Deposit cheques received via cheques scanner or at the local branch.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, request for remittances.
• Process credit card payments
• Monitoring AR shared inbox, addressing incoming internal and external requests.
• Sending monthly customer statements
• Provide customers with copies of invoices as required.
• Assisting with processing credit applications
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

About You

Pay Range

$25 - $28 /hour
